LoCura and La Gente

Event Description

LoCura mixes flamenco with reggae and cumbia with ska through contagious rhythms and multiple languages. Reflecting lead vocalist Kata’s own experience of growing up Spanish American in Spain, Italy, and the U.S., LoCura’s music gives a little taste of Latin flavors from all over the world. LA GENTE is a group led by Colombian/Nicaraguan San Francisco born singer-songwriter Rafael Bustamante Sarria. The group is a cultural and musical collective that have created their own unique Cali-fusion of Reggae, Salsa, Hip-Hop, Cumbia, Rock, and Reggaeton. This is a show not to be missed at the Boom Boom Room!
