Event Description

Teens from San Francisco and Oakland will perform two outrageous original ensemble-created shows. The performances are the culmination of a playmaking workshop in the San Francisco Mime Troupe’s Tony-award winning style of political satire.

The Youth Theater Project is an after-school program for Bay Area teens (14-18) where students learn stage production, acting, playmaking, and improvisation. The primary goal of the Youth Theater Project is to use theater as a means to artistically and creatively express the opinions of young people on topics that are relevant to their lives.
