Event Description

SF Son Jarocho festival features Jarocho bands from Veracruz, Jarocho fusion bands, Electro-Jarocho bands, and Jarocho Rock at Brava Theater in San Francisco from Aug 16 -19th, 2012.

The festival will feature a screening of Marco Villalobos’ Son Siglos PLUS a panel discussion on instrument making and luthiering in the Jarocho tradition and instrument showcase, with master luthiers like Andres Flores, Jorge Mijangos, Noe Gonzalez, and Godo
