Event Description

Rodrigo Bittencourt presents his feature film “Totalmente Inocentes” (”Totally Innocent”) on August 23th at the Colony Theater as part of the 16th Annual Brazilian Film Festival of Miami.

Totally innocent, “Da Fé” believes that he must become the king of the hill to win the love of “Gildinha”. But the slum where they live is at war because of a dispute between “Do Morro” and the transvestite “Diaba Loira”. The situation worsens when the clumsy reporter Wanderlei forges a cover story. Now that hell broke loose the situation is set for a comedy of errors that satirizes the favela movies.

The 16th Brazilian Film Festival of Miami’s programming will consist of Competitive Screenings, at the Colony Theater from August 22 to 25, and Special Screenings, at the Miami Beach Cinematheque from August 19 to 24.

All movies are subtitled in English.
