LAM Social Club presents a 4 hour show featuring 21 musicians as they bring two great South American bands to the Bay Area.
Los Auténticos Decadentes is an Argentine band that mix ska with Latin American rhythms. Formed around 1986, their first hit was Veni Raquel, which set the tone for the irreverence and ironic humor of their later lyrics. Many of their songs are classic anthems of the Argentine nightlife, such as Corazón, Loco (Tu Forma de Ser), Entregá el Marrón, La Guitarra or El Murguero.
No Te Va Gustar, also known by its initials NTVG, is a rock band from Uruguay. No Te Va Gustar was originally formed as a trio made up of Emiliano Brancciari (guitar), Mateo Moreno (bass) and Pablo Abdala (drums). Later, the band expanded and added new styles of music to its repertoire such as reggae, candombe, salsa, ska and murga. Since, they’ve gained recognition by winning the “Third Song Festival of Montevideo” and another competition organized by the Montevideo City Council Youth Commission. They’ve become one of the largest Spanish Rock bands in Uruguay.
