Last night on prime time TV I saw this commercial for the first time, apparently it’s only one in a series of conversations between different lawyers and these two guys. The smartest thing about the entire thing is using Canadian vs any other nationality that comes to mind when mainstream audience hears the words immigration and deportation.
I would like to think that a company like Coke could come up with better marketing than deporting some one for taste infringement. Am I being ultra sensitive to this issue? Totally. It might be one of those things that are only funny as a sort of cultural inside joke but not so much as a corporate joke on prime time television.
